Deixo aqui uma lista com os nomes e ao longo do corpo do e-mail colei cada uma das respostas que recebi. Peço que vocês escrevam para avisar que receberam este e-mail. Espero que possa ajudar. =)

Dear Ananda Mendes,

We received your concerns about the use of animal testing in the development process of Cacharel products.

First of all, I would like to thank you for your interest in Cacharel.

For a number of years now, Cacharel has stopped resorting to all forms of animal testing in the evaluation of the cosmetic products we market.

Dear Ananda,

Thank you for contacting Elizabeth Arden regarding safety testing of our
products. We are always pleased to hear your feedback, and we appreciate
the opportunity to discuss this important issue with you.

The Elizabeth Arden Company shares your concern about the use of animals
in safety testing and is committed to eliminating the need. Contrary to
what you may have read or been told, we do not sponsor or perform any
animal studies on our product formulations. This has been our policy
since 1988.

To avoid the use of tests on animals, our product development work
involves materials with well-established safety records and the use of
extensive ingredient databases. Our product safety testing also includes
the use of non-animal studies, computer modeling and studies with human
volunteers. As a result, we can take great pride in our product safety
record.

Further, our ultimate goal is to eliminate the necessity for animal
testing through our active support of our industry's sharing of
scientific data and sponsorship of research programs to develop and
validate non-animal alternatives for product testing.

We thank you again for the opportunity to clarify our position and hope
you will continue to enjoy Elizabeth Arden products with confidence. If
you have additional questions or comments you may contact us at
800-326-7337. It will be our pleasure to assist you.

All our best,

Prezada Senhora xxxx,

Atenciosamente,

Dear Ananda,

We would like to reassure you: our products are not tested on animals. All Lolita Lempicka products are tested by alternative methods.

This is a bit difficult to explain you in English what’s following up but I try : there is an European Directive voted in 2003, specifying and clarifying that all cosmetics products must not be tested on animals. This includes all ingredients and derived ingredients used to produce a perfume or a cream or a shower gel, etc, that you can find in the market, so all Lolita Lempicka products are in accordance with this directive. We take care that all new ingredient introduced in our products have not been subject of animal testing.

I hope I answered your question,

Sincerely,

Florence Lallement

Ananda:

Parlux Fragrances does not test on animals. The fragrance oil is proprietary and the ingredients are a mixture of natural and synthetics.  Our VP of Operations has confirmed to us that to the best of our company’s knowledge none of our products contains anything from animals, based on the fact that each of our fragrance suppliers has provided written confirmation to that effect.

The only exception to this is the perfume stick that is used in the Paris Hilton line.  It is not something that we sold separately but was included in some gift sets.  That particular item does contain Beeswax.

I hope this information will answer your question.

Dear Amanda,

Thank you for your e-mail regarding our beauty products.  We are pleased to assist you with your inquiry.

Victoria’s Secret does not test its products on animals, nor does it request any of our third party manufacturers, or anyone else, to perform such tests on its behalf.  We utilize ingredients in our formulations that are judged safe, and we do not ask the supplier of those ingredients to perform any such tests on animals.

Victoria’s Secret does not use any animal byproducts in its formulations where the animal is either slaughtered or harmed for the sole purpose of obtaining that material.  We do condone the use of animal derived products where the animal is not harmed; for example, lanolin, milk, eggs, etc.

Amanda, thank you for contacting Victoria's Secret.  We look forward to serving you in the future.

Sincerely,

Shawn C.
